BLS was honoured to deliver and assemble pallet racks and shelves to PostNord – the largest logistics centre for e-commerce in Sweden.

Central warehouse for the Nordics

When PostNord/Strålfors chose to concentrate its entire logistics to one city in southern Sweden, making it the central warehouse for the Nordic region, they chose BLS as a supplier for the storage system. The new facility includes a warehouse distribution centre of 25,000 m². The goal was to make the most of the storage space, to streamline warehousing and to enable flexibility for future expansions.

A combination of pallet racks and shelves

Something we always do at BLS, in order to find the best solution for our customers, is to imagine the desirable outcome from day one. And because of our own production we can always adapt our solutions to every unique need. The solution we delivered to PostNord consisted of a combination of pallet racks and shelves. The pallet height was 9.5 meters and consisted of about 4700 pallets. PostNord’s warehouse is handled by many employees, why safety has also been an important factor in designing and building the system.
